Gurbhej Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar, Punjab, India. Dr. Singh received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and specializes in surface engineering, with a focus on microwave claddings and materials processing using microwave energy (including joining, cladding, casting, etc.). His research interests also include manufacturing science, materials characterization, surface biomedical implants, biomaterials processing, polymeric composites, and nanocomposites. He has published more than 70 research papers and was recently honored with the “Top Cited Paper Awards India 2022” in the review category. Dr. Singh has organized numerous international and national conferences and also organized an AICTE-sponsored Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in 2025.
Narinder Sharma is Dean (R&D) and Professor in Electrical Engineering with nearly 30 years of academic and industry experience. He holds a Ph.D. in ECE and specializes in microwave and antenna design. He has published 120+ research papers, holds patents, and authored books. He has secured major research grants, supervised numerous M.Tech. and Ph.D. scholars, and serves as reviewer and editorial board member for reputed journals. He has delivered expert lectures nationwide and actively contributes to research, administration, and academic development.
Gaurav Tejpal is Principal at Amritsar Group of Colleges with 22 years of academic and administrative experience. He holds a Ph.D. from NIT Jalandhar and is Six Sigma certified. His expertise includes supply chain and logistics management. He has published research papers, guided scholars, and received multiple prestigious awards.
Upain Kumar Bhatia is a Professor, Head, and Dean Academic Affairs at Amritsar Group of Colleges with 27 years of teaching experience. He earned his B.Tech (Hons) and M.Tech (Distinction) from REC Kurukshetra and completed his Ph.D. on scour around bridge abutments. He has developed patented scour protection devices and advanced flow visualization facilities. His research focuses on hydraulics and bridge safety. He has published 45 papers, delivered expert lectures, organized academic events, and actively contributed to consultancy projects and professional societies.
