I love Kiisel's books in that they include a bit of history and costume info which matches perfectly with my class.
For individuals who are interested in draping and want to challenge themselves even further, this book is beneficial. The book has a wide variety of clothes and styles, along with details, embellishments, and trims that help students visualise how they can explore designs on the stand beyond the silhouette. The step-by-step instructions enable students to learn and experiment on their own. Students working on their final collections would also benefit greatly from this book because it contains detailed step-by-step instructions for some more sophisticated drapes.
