Adoption Stories

Born and raised in Chicago, Dawnis E. Edge currently resides in Ohio with her husband, Darryl. She is the mother of three wonderful children, DJ, Daniel and D'Sha, and has an awesome daughter-in-love, Erica. Her three granddaughters, Leah, Imani and Chloe, are the joys of her life. She is also an adoptive parent and has dealt with the challenges of helping her young daughter, D'Sha, figure out how "two families" fit into her life. By profession, Dawnis is a speech-language pathologist who works with children in an elementary school setting. So much can be accomplished through the reading of a book.
