Abby Henderson hates birthdays. Every year since she was born, a demon known as the Deacon has gifted her some fresh horror. Visions of Doomsday. Psychotic breakdowns. This year, he killed her mother. All of this is part of the plan. The Deacon believes that Abby holds the power to unleash an ancient evil on the world, and he will stop at nothing until it is freed. People always called her a freak. Abby Normal, the psycho "psychic" who thinks she can talk to ghosts. But Abby's the only one who hears the Deacon scheming, and the only people she can turn to are as crazy as she is. With the help of a magic-slinging Anglo-Saxon and a machete-wielding Amazon, Abby's going to have to use every trick in the book to stop the Deacon's plans. Because if she can't, her next birthday is going to be Hell.
