An imaginative picture book about celebrating differences, finding belonging, and discovering the courage to be yourself.
On Planet Astron, everything seems tall, purple, and the same. Except Aaron.
Aaron is small, round, green, and wonderfully imaginative. He doesn't march in straight lines or build perfect towers. His thoughts twirl and zigzag, and he experiences the world in his own unique way.
When being different leaves Aaron wondering where he fits, he begins to discover that belonging isn't about becoming like everyone else. What makes him different may also be part of what makes him shine.
Written for children ages 3-6, Aaron's Spark is a warm and engaging picture book about individuality, self-acceptance, inclusion, confidence, kindness, and belonging. Aaron's story encourages children to value their own strengths, appreciate differences in others, and recognize that there is more than one way to think, create, learn, and experience the world.
Ideal for families, preschool and early-elementary classrooms, libraries, and educators, Aaron's Spark offers a natural starting point for conversations about differences, feelings, courage, acceptance, creativity, and helping every child feel seen and valued.
A joyful reminder that children don't have to fit the mold to belong-they simply need the space and courage to discover their own spark.
