Annistyn LaVeau has an active social life with the dead. She has been able to see and communicate with ghosts since the fatal car accident that took the lives of her parents and younger brother. When she moves to Belden, Massachusetts to live with her aunt and two cousins, she meets Mateo-who can also see ghosts-in a decrepit hospital full of trapped giggly ghost girls and insidious entities all vying to break free of their magical prison.
