Free spirit Skyla Plinka's new life as a wife and mother in rural Wisconsin hasn't quite eliminated her restlessness. A friendship with neighbor Roxanne and a part-time job in a bookstore, taken against her intrusive mother-in-law's wishes, give her the chance to find her balance.
