There are times when we are faced with situations and circumstances in life that violate our wills, and shatter our emotions almost beyond repair, as it seems. Initially, we must accept the facts of our circumstances; but, it is optional if we accept our circumstances as our final outcome. We must be able to recover from shock and devastation. Be able to become strong again and bounce back from the experience. Therefore, a resilient heart is needed.
In order to possess a resilient heart, one must do a self-assessment when faced with misfortune or devastation and act upon redirecting your perspective to see your circumstances and their outcome from God's viewpoint. And His viewpoint is always good.
"I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome." Jeremiah 29:11
In the pages of this book I will reflect on my experiences and challenges in a disruptive relationship, and expound on the lessons learned in the truth of God's word. I pray that every reader, at the conclusion of this book, receives strength and encouragement to move forward with life. And embrace hope in God's word, so they too can possess a resilient heart when faced with life's challenges.
