A Red State Hero

Glenn Reeves, a Texas oilman, struggles up the mountain of success until Lewis Thaler, an art dealer from New York, comes to his rescue. Over a period of twenty years, they surmount every obstacle with the help of the many women in their lives.

In spite of his intellectual superiority, Lewis becomes the student of Glenn who explains while eating at a truck stop, "This is comfort food and country music is comfort music."
