Although it's been said many times, many ways...
Jess has built a career as an event planner in Western New York, but work and family don't always pull in the same direction. With the family trip to the Adirondacks slipping out of reach, Jess resigns herself to missing Christmas with her family - until an unexpected turn sends her on the road after all.
Merry Christmas to you...
Greg left Western New York - and Jess - behind years ago to chase a fresh start in Arizona. He's spent the time since wondering if he made a mistake. When Jess's brother invites him to spend Christmas with the family in her place, Greg jumps at the chance - certain the one person he isn't ready to face won't be there.
Too far from home to escape each other, Jess and Greg are forced to face the unfinished business between them. As old wounds resurface and new feelings take root, they'll have to decide whether the home they're looking for was the one they left behind.
