A Brown Paper Parcel is based on true life. It tells of a young six year old girl, who is sent to live with her grandparents after her mother becomes ill. For many years she believes her mother will return to her, but as the years go by and things slowly start to unfold, it becomes obvious that her mother is never coming back.
