Jerry Galvin was born in Clones, Co. Monaghan. Like so many other Irish men and women, he left Ireland and emigrated to London in 1960 looking for work and a new life. This book contains his recollections from his youth growing up in Clones, a small Irish town situated on the Monaghan/Fermanagh border with Northern Ireland.
