When a curious young child asks about 9-11, a loving mother searches for the right words to share one of America's most difficult days. Through gentle conversation, 9-11 Angels introduces children to the heroes, first responders, firefighters, helpers, and angels whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us.
Inspired by the resilience of New York City and the enduring spirit of September 11, this beautifully illustrated children's picture book transforms a difficult historical event into a message of hope, kindness, faith, and remembrance.
Perfect for families, educators, classrooms, libraries, and anyone seeking a thoughtful way to discuss 9-11 with children, 9-11 Angels honors those we lost while reminding young readers that love, courage, and light live on forever.
We will never forget that day--or those whose light continues to shine in our hearts and minds.

Notă biografică
Christine Costello is a New York native and the author of 9-11 Angels, her first children's book. Inspired by conversations with her young son about September 11, she set out to create a gentle, age-appropriate way to help children understand one of the most significant days in American history.
On September 11, 2001, Christine was a college student in Washington, DC watching the events unfold while fearing for family and friends in New York and witnessing the aftermath at the Pentagon. Her family lost Rescue 1 Firefighter Patrick J. O'Keefe, her uncle, who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.
Written with compassion, hope, and remembrance, 9-11 Angels seeks to honor all those who lost their lives, celebrate the courage and kindness that emerged from tragedy, and help children understand that the people we love continue to live on in our hearts, our memories, and the light they leave behind.
