Here is a section of the called shots rules so you can see what it is like: Penalty to hit Damage location -1 x1 Called shot Arm. The target must make a strength save 8+Profeciency Bonus+ Strength or Dexterity modifier. If the save is failed, the target is not able to use the arm and drops what is being held until the beginning of your next turn. The target is not able to pick anything up with the affected arm. If something is being held with two hands it is still dropped. Attacks the target makes, with items other than the dropped item, are at disadvantage until the beginning of your next turn. If the save is failed by 5 or more the target is also frightened until beginning your next turn.
