Not 98. Not 99. Come harvest time, the proud Mr. Macaroni has 100 big, round, juicy watermelons. But tragedy strikes as he attempts to unload them. The forklift topples over and 99 watermelons go tumbling down the alarmingly steep sides of William Street causing sticky chaos and sweet confusion. 99...? That means theres still one watermelon on the loose! Watch out! With its Italian protagonists and rural setting, 100 WATERMELONS is bound to appeal to diverse communities everywhere.

Recenzii

In 100 Watermelons, Trevor Todd has tapped into something kids find absolutely hilarious mess and the unexpected! Steve Pages bright and silly illustrations with the fun rhyming prose scattered throughout will have your child asking for this book night after night (luckily its also an enjoyable one for parents to read). The subtle sustainability message also gives parents the chance to start a conversation about where their childs favourite food comes from and perhaps even inspire them to plant their own. 100 Watermelons is a refreshing and fun book arriving just in time to brighten summer.
