The Institute for Canon Law and the History of Rhenish Canon Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne has edited this collection, “Rulings in Ecclesiastic Matters since 1946,” which presents state court judicature on general religious law and the relationship of church and state. The collection is unique in the German-speaking world is thus also a document of contemporary history.
