Notă biografică

Martin M. Broadwell currently heads the Center for Management Services Inc. in Decatur, Georgia. Having started his career as a teacher, Mr. Broadwell spent nearly twenty years with the Bell System as an Engineer and later as director of engineering training. A renowned authority on management and training, he now serves as a consultant to a wide variety of firms in the United States and around the world. Mr. Broadwell has written numerous articles on managerial training and related subjects, and was selected as one of the top ten contributors to the advancement of training by readers of Training Magazine. In recent years he has received meritorious awards from a number of organizations, including induction into the HRD Hall of Fame in 1990. He is the author of twelve books on management and training, including The New Supervisor, The Supervisor as an Instructor, The New Insurance Supervisor, and The Practice of Supervising, all published by Addison-Wesley.
