Notă biografică

Kathleen Barnes has been an ardent advocate of natural health since the days when yoga was weird and taking vitamin C was considered "way out there." How times have changed! Her career as a journalist and writer has spanned more than four decades, including years as an international correspondent for ABC and CNN during historic transitions in the Philippines and South Africa. In recent years, she has turned her writing to natural health and sustainable living, writing and editing more than 20 books, many of them through her publishing company, take Charge Books. She has written extensively for national and international publications, including more than six years as the weekly natural health columnist for Woman's World magazine and currently as a contributing writer to Natural Awakenings magazine. Kathleen lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina with her husband, Joe, and an ever-changing extended family of horses, dogs, cats and the occasional pond frog.
