Notă biografică

Randall Stevenson was born in the north of Scotland. He grew up in Glasgow and was educated the Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford. After teaching for a time in North-West Nigeria, he returned to the Department of English Literature in the University of Edinburgh in the 1980s. He has also lectured abroad, in ten European countries and in Korea, Egypt, and Nigeria. His work has been translated into Italian and Russian, and new editions of his critical studies havebeen published in Romania and in China.
