Recenzii

As a parent, I love this book and how Kristi Yamaguchi helps to show that fears are normal when you do something new and different...The educator in me adores how this book could convert to many teachable moments with older children.

This ranks as one of the best kids book I've read in a long time. There are just so many great messages in "It's a Big World, Little Pig!" I can definitely see Kristi channeling some of her own personal experiences into this book.

I love that Yamaguchi not only teaches about courage and bravery in this book, but also teaches children that though they might not all look alike on the outside or even speak the same language, we can all communicate universally through kindness.

Will delight small fans of ice skating and those who like colorful pictures with animals...parents and children will enjoy it together.

One thing I appreciate from the two books is the way Yamaguchi conveys that in order to be really good at something you have to practice and work hard, but that it's OK to try a few things before you find a good fit.

My 6 year old daughter and I read this together. We both loved it. This is a great encouraging read for young children.
