Implementing Innovative Social Investment: Strategic Lessons from Europe

Editat de Susan Baines, Andrea Bassi, Judit Csoba, Flórián Sipos
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 22 aug 2020
The theory of social investment proposes that governments should spend money on resources that improve people’s daily lives, not simply on endeavors that will yield financial dividends. The authors of Implementing Innovative Social Investment examine efforts from ten European countries to showcase the challenges, setbacks, and successes associated with these policies. The book provides accessible illustrations of good practice, routes to success, and lessons learned, and is informed throughout by engagement with service users and local communities.
