Experimental Aerodynamics

This book provides a panoramic view of the fundamental measurement techniques used in experimental aerodynamics while simultaneously surveying leading edge research. It includes the contributions of 12 experts from continental Europe, Russia and the United States. The book provides a general introduction to the problem of measuring experimental quantities in aerodynamics and covers the measurement of scalar thermodynamic properties, velocity measurement techniques and methods to measure the effects of momentum transfer from the flowing fluid to bodies immersed in it.
