Cuprinde informatii up to date cu relevante atat clinica cat si in cercetare, bazate pe ghidurile KDIGO (face paralele si cu ghidurile NICE si cele ale societatii americane de nefrologie). Se adreseaza medicilor specialisti, dar si medicilor rezidenti dornici de intelegerea detaliata a mecanismelor fiziopatologice implicate in patologia renala. Cuprinde un detaliat ghid de tratament. Reprezinta totodata o imbunatatire a editiei a 5-a care era in sine foarte cuprinzatoare si updata. O recomand cu maxima incredere.
