Notă biografică
Joel Sacks' father served in the Office of Strategic Services during WWII. An American wartime intelligence agency, the OSS was a predecessor of the modern CIA. Perhaps it
is not surprising then that Joel developed a fascination with politics and intrigue.
Growing up in the suburbs of Washington, Joel Sacks worked at his father's word-processing company during his summer vacations, making deliveries to government and congressional offices, which provided lots of fuel for discussion around the dinner table.
He credits those conversations, and his father, for his love of espionage thrillers, as being the inspiration behind his writing.
By Other Means is the follow up to Joel Sacks' debut novel, City of Cards
