Premiul Hugo (The Hugo Award), decernat prima oară în anul 1955, este cel mai prestigios premiu al literaturii science fiction si fantasy si este acordat anual de membrii Convenţiei Mondiale de Science Fiction (World Science Fiction Convention) pentru cele mai bune romane science fiction şi fantasy publicate în anul precedent.
Romanele nominalizate anul acesta la Premiul Hugo sunt: Ancillary Sword de Ann Leckie, The Dark Between the Stars de Kevin J. Anderson, The Goblin Emperor de Katherine Addison, Skin Game de Jim Butcher, The Three Body Problem de Cixin Liu.
Câştigătorul va fi desemnat in luna august, la Washington.
